Homburger advises UBS on issuance of €1 bn Covered Bonds
UBS Switzerland AG has successfully completed its issuance of Covered Bonds under its covered bond program of €1billion 3.304% Covered Bonds due on March 2029. The Covered Bonds are governed by Swiss law and have been provisionally admitted to trading on the SIX Swiss Exchange. An application will be made for definitive admission to trading and listing.
Homburger advised UBS Switzerland AG as issuer and UBS Hypotheken Schweiz AG as guarantor in respect of all transactional, regulatory and tax aspects of Swiss law. The Homburger team was jointly led by Stefan Kramer and Benedikt Maurenbrecher and included Daniel Hulmann and Sofiya Shavlak (all Capital Markets) as well as Stefan Oesterhelt (Tax).
