Homburger advises UBS on the VAT Group’s CHF 450m credit lines
Today, VAT Group has signed a syndicated term and multicurrency revolving credit facilities agreement with a syndicate of eleven banks, led by UBS Switzerland, to replace its current agreements that are due to expire in 2023.
Homburger has acted as counsel to UBS Switzerland in its capacity as arranger, coordinator, original lender and agent in connection with VAT Group’s CHF 450 m credit facilities.
VAT is the globally leading developer and manufacturer of high-performance vacuum valves, multi-valve units, vacuum modules and edge-welded metal bellows.
Homburger advised UBS Switzerland and the other syndicate banks with regard to all legal aspects of the financing transaction. The team was led by Stefan Bindschedler (associate, financing and investment products, pictured) and included Jürg Frick (financing and investment products) as well as Stefan Oesterhelt (tax).
