Homburger advises Goldman Sachs on Matterhorn Telecoms’ debt instruments
Homburger advised Goldman Sachs International as part of the initial purchasers involved in the issuance of EUR 420 m Senior Secured Notes by Matterhorn Telecom. The firm also acted as Swiss counsel to Goldman Sachs International itself and the other syndicate banks in Matterhorn Telecom’s new EUR 430 m Term Loan B3 Facility.
The context
On January 30, 2025, Matterhorn Telecom issued EUR 420 m 4.500% Senior Secured Notes. Maturing in 2030, the notes are guaranteed by Matterhorn Telecom itself and its subsidiary Salt Mobile.
Homburger advised the entire syndicate of initial purchasers on the transaction. The group operated under the leadership of Goldman Sachs International, working alonside BofA Securities Europe, BNP Paribas, Crédit Agricole, J.P. Morgan, Société Générale and UBS’ London Branch.
Moreover, Homburger assisted Goldman Sachs International and the other syndicate banks in connection with another Matterhorn Telecom’s operation: a new EUR 430 m English law governed term loan facility. Goldman Sachs international was the appointed lender and mandated lead arranger on the deal.
