As of January 2021, Id est avocats promotes Basile Walder and Alexandre Jotterand to senior associates.

Basile Walder (pictured left) joined the firm in 2017, after practicing in the Geneva office of one of Switzerland’s largest firms. Basile has been routinely involved in complex IT, BPO and commercial projects and transactions with a focus on data, employment and regulatory issues. He has also advised on many corporate finance and commercial deals for clients in logistics, retail, banking, and medical services/devices.

Alexandre Jotterand (pictured right) joined the firm in 2018, after practicing in a well known Geneva based commercial law firm. Alexandre has developed a strong expertise in data, privacy and technology licensing (including open source), and is a certified CIPP/E and CIPM practitioner. He has been involved in numerous significant XaaS and cloud projects for institutional clients in the insurance, banking, education, cybersecurity and healthcare industries, and regularly advises on GDPR and Swiss data protection compliance matters.
