Inhousecommunity Days Switzerland 2023 – Day 2

The Inhousecommunity Days event, held at the prestigious Park Hyatt Zurich, entered its vibrant Day 2 with enthusiasm and high expectations. As in-house legal professionals gathered, the event surpassed all hopes and delivered insightful discussions on crucial topics while bringing together an exceptional group of industry leaders. 

The day began promptly at 9:30 am with a warm welcome from Aldo Scaringella, the CEO of LC Publishing Group. His opening address set the stage for a day full of stimulating conversations and knowledge sharing. 

The first Roundtable of the day, focusing on “Cybersecurity and In-House Departments.” featured a panel of distinguished speakers, including Isabella Bdoian Gonzalez, Deputy General Counsel, EMEA, Whirlpool Corporation, Nicolas Grunder, Lead Counsel Digital Data & Cybersecurity, ABB, Shira Kaplan, Founder & CEO, Cyverse, Christian Kunz, Partner, Bär & Karrer, and Damian Weiss, General Counsel, Swisscard AECS. The roundtable was moderated by Suzan Taha, Journalist from LegalcommunityCH. Together, they delved deep into the ever-relevant topic of cybersecurity and its implications for in-house legal departments. The discussion was expertly moderated by Mercedes Galán, Journalist from LegalcommunityCH. These distinguished experts shared their insights and experiences, shedding light on the increasingly pivotal role of Chief Legal Officers in driving ESG initiatives. 

The event concluded with closing remarks at 12:45 pm, summarizing the day’s key takeaways and expressing gratitude to all participants, speakers, and sponsors. Attendees then enjoyed a delightful light lunch, which provided a final opportunity for networking and casual discussions.
