Judith Bischof becomes Clariant’s General Counsel
Clariant has announced the appointment of Judith Bischof as General Counsel as of 1 September 2022. She succeeds Alfred Münch, who retires after twelve years in this position. As General Counsel, Judith Bischof will be a member of the newly formed Executive Leadership Team.
Judith Bischof completed her Law studies at the University of Zurich. She also obtained a Master’s degree in Law and International Business from the University of Sydney and completed an Executive MBA programme at the University of St. Gallen (HSG). After completing her doctorate, Bischof worked for nine years as a lawyer, first in court and then at the renowned law firms Lenz & Staehelin in Zurich and Covington & Burling in New York. In addition, she has more than ten years of experience as General Counsel: In this function, she worked first for the telecommunications company Ascom and more recently for the technology group RUAG International. Judith Bischof is also a member of the Board of Directors of Implenia.
