Jürg Schneider becomes the new Ceo of AXA-ARAG Rechtsschutz
Internal successor at the largest Swiss legal protection insurance company, Jürg Schneider has been appointed as the new managing director of AXA-ARAG Rechtsschutz with immediate effect.
The 49-year-old was Head of Operations & Underwriting and a member of the AXA-ARAG management team from July 2016. Since the end of June 2020, Jürg Schneider has led AXA-ARAG as CEO ad interim.
Jürg Schneider is characterized by his broad experience along the entire value chain. In 1999 he joined what was then Winterthur-ARAG Rechtsschutz as a lawyer. He worked in various leading positions in the company, looked after major customers and promoted specialization in legal services.
In 2016 he took over the position of Head of Operations & Underwriting. In this role and as a member of the management team, he played a key role in shaping the strategic direction and transformation of AXA-ARAG, paving the way for new approaches, such as prevention services for comprehensive cyber protection and the launch of the MyRight digital platform.
