Baker McKenzie advised Keesing Media in the acquisition of Küng Group

Baker McKenzie advised Amsterdam-based Keesing Media Group (Keesing) on the acquisition of the Swiss Küng Group. The deal will enable Keesing to to strengthen its European market presence and develop a stronger foothold in the Swiss market. Keesing will also support the Küng group in its next phase of growth by continuing to expand in both the print and digital market.

Baker McKenzie acted as legal counsel to Keesing on all the legal aspects of this acquisition. Over the past 20 years, the Küng Group, led by Thomas Küng, has become a prominent name in the Swiss market puzzles sector and shows very healthy growth. The company comprises Küng Verlags which has a large assortment of puzzle magazines, books and digital publishing products and Rätsel Agentur, which supplies the B2B segment with print and online puzzles in three national languages and offers prize game services to its customers.
