Lenz & Staehelin advises Hyundai in Grz technologies investment

Hyundai Motor Company invests in Swiss-based Grz Technologies, a spin-off of Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (Epfl), specialized in energy storage in hydrogen form. The investment strengthens Hyundai’s hydrogen leadership and accelerates the company’s efforts to commercialize hydrogen infrastructure for greater accessibility to customers.

Lenz & Staehelin acted as legal advisor to Hyundai Motor Company. The team included Tino Gaberthüel (lead, corporate and m&a) and Astrid Waser (competition) as well as Alessandra Läser and Xavier Grivel (both corporate and m&a), Lukas Staub and David Hitz (both ip, it), Nicole Frey (employment) and Sandro Travaglini (competition).
