Lenz & Staehelin and Cleary Gottlieb: Latour Capital acquires Gutor 

Paris-based private equity firm, Latour Capital, has successfully concluded its acquisition of Gutor Electronic from Schneider Electric. 

Gutor Electronic, headquartered in Wettingen, Switzerland, is a specialized manufacturer of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems for industrial applications. With a global workforce of over 500 employees, Gutor operates three production sites in Switzerland, Malaysia, and China, and recorded revenues of Euro 130 million in 2021. 

Latour Capital, known for its entrepreneurial approach and extensive operational expertise, is an independent French private equity firm managing assets worth over Euro 2.6 billion. As an active shareholder, the firm works closely with management teams to support its portfolio companies. Latour Capital primarily invests in companies with robust growth potential, both within France and internationally. 

Cleary Gottlieb acted as lead counsel while Lenz & Staehelin advised Latour Capital on the Swiss legal aspects of this transaction and its financing.
