On February 8, 2021, ComCo ordered interim measures against Mastercard and opened an investigation into the ATM Market in Switzerland. While Mastercard welcomes the opening of an in-depth investigation into the ATM market in Switzerland, Mastercard is of the opinion that ComCo’s decision to impose interim measures is not legally justified. Therefore, Mastercard will appeal these interim measures to the Swiss courts.
