Lenz & Staehelin and Walder Wyss on the creation of Yuh

Lenz & Staehelin advised Swissquote on the creation of Yuh, its digital banking joint venture with PostFinance, advised by Walder Wyss.

“Yuh” is a new Swiss digital banking application, which makes it possible to carry out a wide range of retail banking operations from mobile devices.

Lenz & Staehelin advised Swissquote on the establishment of the joint venture and banking solution with a team led by Jacques Iffland. The transaction team was led by Emilie Jacot-Guillarmod and Ariel Ben Hattar. Benoît Merkt, Johana Cau and Christophe Moser advised on the competition law aspects and assisted with the Swiss merger control procedure relating to the approval of the joint venture by the Swiss competition authorities. François Rayroux, Valérie Menoud, Isy Isaac Sakkal, Dany Sousa Ribeiro and Remo Schmidlin advised on the banking contractual and regulatory questions. Frédéric Neukomm and Stanislas Cramer advised on tax. Sevan Antreasyan advised on IP. Federico Trabaldo Togna and Yannick Bucher advised on corporate questions.
