Lenz & Staehelin with Banque Pictet on joint pilot project
Lenz & Staehelin advised Banque Pictet & Cie on the successful conclusion of a joint pilot project with SIX.
The project
The project entailed the tokenization of corporate debt instruments as well as the allocation of fractional quantities of these assets to portfolios managed by Pictet Asset Management.
The debt instruments in question were EUR- and CHF-denominated corporate bonds, held in custody at SIX SIS to be tokenized on the SDX platform. The investors received the assets in fractions via the portfolios’ custody bank account.
