Unigestion sales PE business to Sagard: the advisors
Unigestion completed the sale of the entire share capital of Unigestion Private Equity Holding – the head holding of Unigestion’s private equity business – to the Canadian alternative asset management group Sagard.
In connection with the deal, Lenz & Staehelin advised Unigestion, while Shellenberg Wittmer represented Sagard.
The context
The deal stems from a reorganization of the Unigestion group around two head holdings, Unigestion Private Equity Holding private equity activities and Unigestion Holding One for all the other business operations.
