FRORIEP promotes Mark Montanari as new partner
As of 1 January 2021, Mark Montanari (pictured) will become a new partner at FRORIEP. He joined the firm in 2010 and became counsel in 2017.
Mark Montanari’s practice focuses on the structuring of both corporate debt and equity financing transactions as well as M&A transactions. Within this field of expertise Mark also advises clients on a regular basis regarding any stock exchange related matters such as listing procedures, rights offerings, transparency obligations or corporate governance matters.
He has profound knowledge and in-depth practical experience in corporate and capital market law as well as related financial market legislation and regularly advises Swiss and international public and private companies, investment vehicles, financial services providers as well as start-ups, investors and executives.
Prior to FRORIEP, he worked at a District Court in the Canton of Berne and with a business law firm in Berne. He used to work as a research and teaching assistant at the University of Berne at the Institute of Business Law where he successfully completed his doctor thesis in 2011 in the field of financial markets. Mark Montanari is the author of numerous legal publications and is chairman of a real estate investment foundation in Zurich.
