MLL: new VanEck Exchange Traded Product (ETP) on SIX Swiss Exchange
MLL advised VanEck ETP in the multi-currency listing of the VanEck Terra ETN (Ticker: VLNA) on the SIX Swiss Exchange. The new product has been traded on SIX since April 6, 2022. With this new product, VanEck has a total of eight products listed and traded on SIX.
The new VanEck ETP provides investors with exposure to the price of Terra without having to buy the crypto currency themselves whilst the ETP is fully collateralised by the underlying cryptocurrency stored in cold storage at a regulated crypto custodian.
The New York-based investment management firm VanEck expands its crypto investment and opens up the future market of crypto applications for European investors. VanEck has already launched exchange-traded investment products on Bitcoin, Ethereum, Polkadot, Tron and Solana. The company has a history of looking beyond the financial markets to identify trends. They were one of the first asset managers to offer investors access to gold investing in 1968, emerging markets in 1993, and Exchange Traded Funds in 2006.
MLL acted as legal advisor in the listing. MLL partner Mark Montanari (capital markets, pictured) advised VanEck ETP with respect to the entire listing process of the new product on SIX.
