MLL hires three new partners and two associates
MLL Legal strengthens its Lausanne office with the arrival of a team of three partners and two associates.
By strengthening its presence in Lausanne, MLL Legal also shows its commitment to further develop its skills and expert offering in the high-tech, IP-rich and regulated industries.
New partners
- Philippe Vladimir Boss (pictured left) is an expert in economic criminal law and commercial litigation. Mr. Boss acts for individuals and institutions in criminal, administrative and internal investigations, as well as in civil and arbitration disputes, including crisis management. He also advises sports organizations on disciplinary, ethical and governance disputes. His clients include financial, commercial and commodity trading companies, sports federations and individuals.
- Hélène Weidmann (pictured center) specializes in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and corporate law. She assists Swiss entrepreneurs and SMEs, as well as foreign investors and groups, particularly in commercial transactions. Ms Weidmann also has in-depth expertise in stock exchange regulations, restructuring, partnerships and corporate governance. She is also a member of several boards of directors. Her clients include companies active in the highly regulated fields of financial services, as well as information technology, hospitality and education.
- Thierry Amy (pictured right) specialized in civil and administrative litigation as well as banking and finance regulatory law. He possesses extensive experience in managing complex litigation and financing projects (particularly in the context of public-private partnerships), as well as advising banking and financial institutions, including those active in FinTech. He also benefits from an in-depth knowledge of the economic fabric of the Canton of Vaud, acquired during his political career and has an extensive network of contacts with cantonal regulatory and political authorities. His clients are both private and public players active in industry sectors such as financial services, blockchain technologies and real estate.
New associates
- Benoît Pittet, specialized in litigation and banking law. Mr. Pittet has solid experience in dispute resolution and advising on banking regulations, with a particular focus on new technologies.
- Linda Cetkovic, specialized in intellectual property and mergers & acquisitions (M&A). Ms Cetkovic will bring her in-depth expertise in intellectual property and corporate law to assist our clients in both advisory and transactional matters.
