MLL Legal announces a new management comittee team

MLL Legal has announced the appointment of a new management committee team, consisting of Kilian Schärli, Samuel Ljubicic and Serge Calame.

The legal firm believe in a leadership that is approachable, agile and efficient and that promotes new up-and-coming leaders with innovative mindsets. So after a merger transition period of 1.5 years, Michael Ritscher, Jean Marguerat, Catrina Luchsinger Gähwiler and Peter Schramm have handed over their seats to the new members of the committee.

Managing partner Kilian Schärli (pictured left) is based in Zurich & Baar. He specializes in the fields of intellectual property, blockchain technology, unfair competition, licensing and distribution. He has particular expertise in commercial and transactional work relating to these fields. Kilian is also co-head of MLL Legal’s Blockchain Technologies and MLLStart! industry groups.

Partner Samuel Ljubicic (pictured centre) is head of finance and is based in Zurich. Ljubicic practices m&a, banking and finance, capital markets and real estate law. He regularly advises clients on national and cross-border m&a and finance transactions, debt securities and equity investments as well as transfers of credit risks. He serves as board member and corporate secretary of Swiss corporations and is also a member of the “Young SECA”.

Serge Calame (pictured right) is a Geneva’s office partner and head of HR and marketing. Calame co-heads the firm’s private clients practice group. His main areas of practice are international estate and tax planning where he provides broad expert advice to sophisticated international private clients and family offices. He is a recognized leading private client adviser and trust and estate litigator in the Legal Week « Private Client Global Elite Directory » since 2012.
