Nicolaus Westerkamp has joined the pharma group MSD as director International Legal & Compliance. Nicolaus is, as he defined himself, a seasoned in-house counsel and business enabler with over 13 years of experience negotiating complex technology licensing contracts, advising on EU competition law matters, supporting dispute resolutions, and ensuring compliance with employment laws, regulatory requirements, and data privacy across multiple jurisdictions. After his experience at Ameos group where he was general counsel, and at Clutch group, he has joined Citrix for more than 8 years. There he worked in different positions until he became regional general counsel EMEA, where he led the EMEA-based commercial legal team in the provision of practical, business-oriented legal advice for all trade-related matters, including operations management and support for all commercial transactions..
