NKF advised bNovate on its CHF 12m Series C financing round

Niederer Kraft Frey has advised bNovate Technologies as Swiss counsel on its CHF 12 million Series C financing round led by Emerald Technology Ventures, followed by existing shareholders. The funding will accelerate bNovate’s global expansion as well as grow its product portfolio, which is currently designed for water utilities, the food and beverage industry, OEM partners, research facilities and the pharmaceutical industry.

bNovate Technologies is a Swiss company, focus in rapid microbial detection systems for the water industry, which develops and commercializes game changing, simple and effective tools that automatically monitor the microbiological water quality. Its successful product “BactoSense” is a compact, connected, and robust device that can monitor water parameters continuously and detect bacterial contamination in only 20 minutes.

It has already been recognised for its disruptive innovations and positive contribution to global climate goals as an Uplink Top 10 Innovator at the WEF 2023 and by the Swiss foundation, Solar Impulse.
