NKF advises on the Eurotandem merger with Advaton
Niederer Kraft Frey acted as lead counsel to CGS Management and Advaton, owner of Kalt Maschinenbau and Staedler Automation on the merger of Advaton with the French company SAS Eurotandem.
SAS Eurotandem is a French specialist in cheese, dairy and process technology, and intends to pool their capabilities with Kalt Maschinenbau and Staedler Automation, in order to act as a major full-range provider in cheese and dairy processing and manufacturing solutions, and thus accelerate the growth path achieved by both companies in the past years.
From the other side, CGS is an independent, experienced investment firm based in Pfäffikon, Switzerland. It is specialised in building medium-sized companies in industrial sectors into international groups. Since 1999, CGS funds have been investing in platform companies in Europe’s German-speaking countries and making add-on acquisitions worldwide.
