NKF hires Müller, Marti, Baumann and Buob from Homburger
Niederer Kraft Frey (NKF) has hired a team of lawyers specialising in corporate/M&A, IP/IT and tax. corporate/M&A partners Andreas Müller and Margrit Marti joined the firm on 1 October 2026, and will be followed in the coming months by IP/IT counsel Philippe Baumann and tax counsel Juliette Buob. The four lawyers move from Homburger.
Team profiles
Andreas Müller‘s practice focuses on public and private M&A, private equity and capital markets transactions. He regularly advises life sciences and technology companies on transactions across their lifecycle, and also counsels boards of directors and management on corporate governance, securities law, executive compensation matters, and takeover defence and shareholder activism situations.
Margrit Marti‘s practice centres on M&A, private equity and venture capital transactions, with experience advising life sciences and technology companies, investors and founders on cross-border M&A, financing transactions, IPOs and other capital markets work, as well as corporate and securities law and corporate governance matters.
Philippe Baumann‘s practice focuses on IP and IT transactions, particularly in the life sciences and technology sectors, including licensing transactions, R&D collaborations, service and supply arrangements, and IT and outsourcing projects. He has experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements and also has a background in software development.
Juliette Buob advises on tax planning and structuring in M&A transactions, reorganisations, succession planning, family offices and trusts, as well as the tax implications of complex transactions and structures, with a focus on practical solutions, and advises founders and companies on tax-efficient employee incentive and share-based plans.
