NKF with Affidea on Die Berner Urologen acquisition

Niederer Kraft Frey (NKF) advised Affidea on the acquisition of Die Berner Urologen.

Through this acquisition, Affidea extends its integrated urology network — already comprising Uroviva centres in Zurich, Zug, Lucerne, and Solothurn — to the canton of Bern. Affidea Switzerland currently operates 39 centres and 12 laboratories across the country, employing more than 900 people, including over 130 physicians.

Berner Urologen was founded in 2021. With locations in Bern and Langenthal, the practice offers a range of urological services, from diagnostic workups and conservative therapies to surgical procedures. The team comprises nine urologists alongside medical and administrative staff.
