NKF with GF on aerospace and industrial gas turbine operations divestment to CPP

Niederer Kraft Frey (NKF) advised Georg Fischer (GF), as the Swiss industrial company listed on SIX Swiss Exchange (ticker: GF) has entered into an agreement to divest its aerospace and industrial gas turbine investment casting foundry to US-based Consolidated Precision Products Corp. (CPP).

The buyer is a manufacturer of castings and components for the aerospace, defense and industrial gas turbine sectors.

The transaction is expected to generate cash proceeds of approx. CHF 220 million. Closing is expected to take place towards the end of the year, subject to customary closing conditions.

The divested business is operated through the Precicast-Group, held by GF Casting Solutions Industrial SA, with approximately 600 employees across sites in Novazzano, Stabio (Switzerland) and Arad (Romania) producing components for aerospace and industrial gas turbines. It formed part of the former GF Casting Solutions division, the majority of which was divested on 12 February 2026.
