NKF with Impala on debt refinancing & notes issuance
Niederer Kraft Frey (NKF) advised Impala Terminals Group (Impala), a globally active liquid and dry bulk storage infrastructure operator, in connection with its recent USD 1.26 billion debt refinancing and private placement notes issuance. A&O Shearman acted as lead counsel in the transaction.
The transaction
The financing took place under a new common term secured debt platform and comprised USD 560 million in term and revolving bank facilities, together with USD 700 million in multi-series U.S. private placement notes issued across a range of tenors.
