NKF with Medermis Clinics on vascular centers’ partnership

Niederer Kraft Frey (NKF) advised Medermis Clinics on its partnership with vascular medicine centers Zentrum für Gefässmedizin Mittelland (Aarau and Baden), Gefässpraxis am See (Lucerne and Cham), and Venenzentrum Arlesheim (Arlesheim).

The context

Headquartered in Munich, Medermis Clinics specialises across a plethora of medical areas, including dermatology, phlebology, laser medicine, and medical aesthetic dermatology treatments. The company operates 52 locations across Germany and Switzerland, with more than 1’000 employees including 200 physicians.

The three vascular centers object of the deal serve the cantonal markets of Aargau, Lucerne, Zug, and the Basel region. Together, they form a specialised network with 16 experienced angiologists, offering integrated diagnostics and treatment of venous and arterial diseases, with a focus on minimally invasive procedures.

The NKF team

Corporate and M&A partner Moritz Maurer and senior associate Samuel Hochstrasser (corporate and M&A) co-led the NKF team on the matter, alongside healthcare & regulatory partner Janine Reudt-Demont. The team further included partner Patrik Peyer, associate Julia Pugliese, junior associates Peter-Conradin Schreiber and Janika Leuzinger (all corporate/M&A), associate Yannik Bleiker (real estate) and associate Linus Bättig (employment).
