NKF with SoftBank on ABB’s robotics business acquisition

Niederer Kraft Frey (NKF) advised SoftBank Group Corp in its agreement with electrification and automation specialist ABB to acquire the latter’s robotics business, valued at USD 5.375 billion.

Closing is planned for mid-to-late 2026, subject to customary regulatory approvals across the European Union, China, and the United States, as well as the satisfaction of other customary conditions.
