CMS advised Norres on its acquisition of the Baggerman Group
Norres, a portfolio company of Triton Smaller Mid-Cap Fund I, acquired the Baggerman Group. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
The Baggerman Group, headquartered in Roermond, Netherlands, is a specialist manufacturer of industrial hoses, couplings and related parts. The company has subsidiaries in Italy, Switzerland, Hungary and Romania.
A team of CMS Switzerland and CMS Italy, led by Daniel Jenny (partner, corporate/m&a, pictured) advised Norres on all Swiss and Italian law aspects of the transaction. CMS Switzerland team consisted Simon Brauchbar Birkhäuser (counsel,ip), Ferdinand Blezinger (associate, corporate/m&a), Katja Bertsche (associate, real estate) and Marzia Schilleci (associate, employment).
Mayer Brown, Frankfurt, acted as lead counsel to Norres.
Norres is a manufacturers of industrial plastic hoses in Europe. It has production facilities in Germany, China, the US and Italy and distribution and warehouse locations in the Czech Republic, France, Poland, Sweden, Taiwan and the UK. The company, founded in 1889, employs approximately 300 people worldwide.
