NZZ and Architonic ArchDaily acquire online magazine Designboom
Baker McKenzie advised NZZ (Neue Zürcher Zeitung) and Architonic ArchDaily, the online community for design and architecture, on the acquisition of international online magazine Designboom. Together, the two companies will form DAAily Platforms, provider of knowledge and relevant working tools for the premium architecture and design community.
For Architonic ArchDaily, initially acquired by NZZ in 2015 and complemented with ArchDaily in 2020, this acquisition signifies another milestone in its digital growth strategy. With the newly founded DAAily Platforms, the company forms a large architecture and design community, reaching a total of more than 21 million followers across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Twitter.
The parties have agreed not to disclose the financial details of the transaction.
