Two Pestalozzi partners now members of the ICC International Court of Arbitration in Paris

Pestalozzi announces the appointment of two of it’s partners,  Laurent Killias (pictured left) Tanja Planinic (pictured right) to the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Paris.  Laurent Killias is joining as new member for Switzerland. While Pestalozzi partner Tanja Planinic has been re-appointed to the International Court of Arbitration of the ICC for a second term as member for Montenegro.

Tanja Planinic and Laurent Killias are experienced arbitration practitioners. They both act as counsel in commercial disputes and are regularly appointed as arbitrators.

 

Laurent Killias

Laurent Killias joined Pestalozzi in 2009. He is a partner in Pestalozzi’s dispute resolution team and head of the arbitration group in Zurich. He concentrates on international arbitrational and commercial litigation in disputes.

Killias is a member of the Swiss Arbitration National Committee, the co-founder and a lecturer at Swiss Arbitration Academy and a lecturer at University of Zurich, where he is also serving as a board member at the Europe Institute. Killias was a member of the Legal Committee at the Swiss American Chamber of Commerce.

 

Tanja Planinic

Tanja Planinic joined Pestalozzi in 2009. She is a partner at Pestalozzi, her practice includes all aspects of domestic and international commercial litigation, arbitration and mediation.

Prior to joining Pestalozzi, Planinic served as a law clerk at the Supreme Court of the Canton of Berne and was a staff attorney at the Claims Resolution Tribunal for Dormant Accounts in Zurich. She also worked as a senior associate in the international arbitration practice group of a law firm in London.

Since July 2017, Planinic is a member of the ICC International Court of Arbitration in Paris, representing Montenegro ( Planinic is a dual Swiss and Montenegrin national), and a member of the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR.
