Pwc sells its Global Mobility Tax and Immigration Services Business

PwC has agreed to sell its Global Mobility Tax and Immigration Services business to Clayton, Dubilier & Rice.

PwC’s Global Mobility Tax and Immigration Services business serves more than 3,000 multinational clients worldwide. The business helps organizations manage global talent mobility, while providing tax and immigration services to cross-border employees.

The transaction will create a free-standing, global platform with more than 5,700 professionals and is expected to close in the first half of 2022.

Homburger has acted as legal counsel to PwC advising on all Swiss law aspects of the transaction. The Homburger team is being led by partner Daniel Hasler (corporate / m&a, pictured) and includes partner Franz Hoffet (competition, regulatory), counsel Peter Müller (tax, employment and executive compensation) and associates Carlo Sulser (corporate / m&a), Lisa Imhof and Anissa Kern (both employment and executive compensation).
