CMS Switzerland with Renaissance on its stake acquisition in Baitella 

Renaissance Anlagestiftung has become a long-term majority shareholder in Baitella. Together with the management, Renaissance will continuously develop the globally successful quality products for applications in medicine and industry under the “Fisso” brand. 

A CMS team led by partner Alain Raemy (corporate/m&a, pictured) provided comprehensive legal and tax advice to Renaissance Anlagestiftung on this transaction. The team also consisted of partner Mark Cagienard (tax), alongside associate Andrea Relly (corporate/m&a), counsel Simone Brauchbar Birkhäuser (intellectual property), counsel Fabian Martens (regulation), associate Miryam Meile (employment), associate David Schuler (tax) and trainee Dominik Bonderer (corporate/m&a). 

Baitella  was founded in 1978 by Carlo Baitella. The company supplies both the medical and industrial segments with articulated stands and accessories in standard and customised versions.
