Wenger Vieli: Scandit completes USD 150m Series D Financing Round
Scandit, smart data capture platform, has completed a USD 150m Series D financing round at a company valuation in excess of USD 1billion. The oversubscribed round was led by Warburg Pincus and also included strong participation from existing investors.
Scandit plans to use the additional funding to further expand its global footprint and team with a particular focus on APAC, including Japan, Singapore and South Korea.
Wenger Vieli acted as legal advisor to Scandit with a team co-led by Beat Speck (partner, m&a / corporate) and Michael Baier (partner, venture capital / m&a), and included Anna Tomaschek (associate, m&a / corporate) and Matea Brezovic (junior lawyer).
