Schellenberg Wittmer advises SIX Paynet AG on sale of two business to PostFinance AG

Schellenberg Wittmer advised SIX Paynet AG, the main industry player in the Swiss e-invoicing market, on the sale of its B2B and B2C E-Invoicing Business to PostFinance AG. The eBill infrastructure was not part of the transaction and will be continued to be operated and further developed by SIX Group. The transaction was structured as a bulk asset transfer pursuant to the Swiss Merger Act, which was completed on 1 April 2021.
