SGS acquires SYNLAB Analytics & Services: the advisors

SYNLAB, a medical diagnostic services provider in Europe, announces the signing of an agreement to sell its Analytics & Services (A&S) unit to SGS, Switzerland-based company operating globally in inspection, verification, testing and certification. The proceeds of the sale will remain in the group for future use.The purchase consideration is expected to be approximately EUR 550 million and will be fully funded from existing financial resources.

Allen & Overy acted as legal advisor to SGS working together with Olivier Merkt (pictured), SGS’s General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer.
