Check out the news of the week:

· Lenz & Staehelin advised Beazley, working alongside the lead counsel, Freshfields, as the board of the company agreed the terms of a recommended all-cash offer by Zurich for the entire issued and to be issued share capital of Beazley. The Lenz & Staehelin team includes Tino Gaberthüel (corporate and M&A, pictured left), Simone Ehrsam (corporate and M&A, pictured right), Patrick Schärli (regulatory) and Marcel Meinhardt (antitrust).

· Bratschi Ltd. expanded its tenancy and real estate law team in Lausanne with the appointment of partner Ingrid Cueva Molnar, effective since the 1st of March 2026, moving from HCML avocats, the one of Cueva Molnar is a return, since she spent four years at Bratschi between 2020 and 2024.

· Homburger advised Novartis as the globally active healthcare company completed the acquisition of RNA therapeutics specialist Bioscience for a sum of approximately $12 billion. Frank Gerhard (corporate/M&A) and Benjamin Leisinger (capital markets) led the Homburger team on the matter, working alongside Stefan Bindschedler (financing), Olivier Baum (capital markets, corporate/M&A), and Timo Alessandro Hasler (corporate/M&A).
