· CMS Switzerland officialised the appointment of Florian Schönknecht as a partner effective February 1st, 2026. Former head investigations at FINMA, he’s an expert in the areas of investigations, compliance and financial market law.
· Rieter Holding completed the acquisition of Barmag from OC Oerlikon, for an enterprise value of CHF 850 million. In connection with the deal, Lenz & Staehelin advised Rieter Holding, while Homburger advised OC Oerlikon.
· Kellerhals Carrard advised the sellers in the integration of Aequitum Sa, an independent asset manager based in Lugano, with BG Valeur SA, a wealth management firm part of the Banca Generali group.
