Skytec Group Affiliate acquires Loewe Brand: the advisor

 In mid-December 2019, a Cyprus-based investment company affiliated with Skytec Group acquired the Loewe brand and trademarks of the insolvent German high-end TV manufacturer. The Loewe brand and trademarks had previously been transferred to a British investment fund in the course of the insolvency of the Loewe group. The acquiror plans to restart the business of Loewe and to expand the brand internationally in the premium segments for consumer electronics
The team
Walder Wyss acted as advisor to the acquirer in all legal aspects of the transaction. The team is led by partner Stefan Knobloch (corporate and m&a) and includes managing associate Christian Lütolf (corporate and m&a) and associate Benno Fischer-Siddiqui (Ip&It).
