Eversheds Sutherland with Swisscom on its acquisition of MTF Group

Swisscom has acquired the MTF Group’s companies operating in German-speaking Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein.

MTF Group is an established provider of IT services for SMEs. With the acquisition, Swisscom is underscoring its ambitions for growth in the SME environment and enhancing its existing IT portfolio.

Eversheds Sutherland provided legal support and advice to Swisscom in the due diligence process, in the drafting of the share purchase agreement as well as in the contract negotiations. The corporate, m&a team on this transaction was led by partner Daniel Bachmann (pictured) and consisted senior associates Alexander Schütz and Michel Verde as well as associate Natalie Schwager.
