Illumiti Group acquired by Syntax Systems. The advisors

Illumiti Group, the SAP systems integration and management consultancies in North America, was acquired by Syntax Systems, a multi-cloud and multi-ERP managed cloud provider for mission-critical applications and a portfolio company of Novacap, a Montreal-based private equity firm.  The transaction involved entities in Canada, the U.S., Germany and Switzerland.

By joining forces, Syntax and Illumiti are able to offer companies unparalleled, end-to-end technical and functional SAP solutions and expertise. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The advisors

Bratschi acted as legal councel to Illumiti Group with respect to the Swiss law related aspects of the transaction. The Bratschi team included Michael Barrot (lead and tax, pictured top) and Claudio Bazzi (corporate).

Walder Wyss acted as Swiss counsel to Syntax Systems. The team has been co-led by Urs P. Gnos (partner, corporate/m&a, pictured left) and Christian Hagen (managing associate, corporate / m&a, pictured left) and further included Timon Nydegger (associate, corporate/m&a), Gaurav Bhagwanani (senior associate, employment) and Lena Götzinger (associate, RCTI).
