ERNI Group to be acquired by TE Connectivity. The advisors

The owners of ERNI Group have sold the entire group to TE Connectivity, a company specializing in connectivity and sensors. The transaction is expected to close by the end of the current quarter, following the receipt of customary regulatory approvals.

ERNI is an international, family-owned company of Swiss origin, with more than 70 years of experience as a global manufacturer and service provider. Spanning over 40 countries and with a number of manufacturing facilities in Europe, North America and Asia Pacific.

The advisors

Schellenberg Wittmer is acting as legal advisor for TE Connectivity.  The team included of Oliver Triebold (overall lead, pictured top), Marcel Jakob, Céline Schmid, Daniele Simoniello, Beatrice Borio (all corporate/m&a), David Mamane and Amalie Wijesundera (competition/antitrust), as well as Anita Schläpfer and Fabio Elsener (banking & finance).

Bär & Karrer acted as legal advisor to the family owners of ERNI Group in this transaction. The team included Christoph Neeracher (pictured left), Raphael Annasohn and Luana Stämpfli (all m&a), Daniel Bader, Cyrill Diefenbacher and Julian Hodel (all tax) as well as Mani Reinert and Tobias Rebmann (both Antitrust).

Also advising ERNI Group are Lilja Capital Advisory Partners, serving as the financial advisor for the family shareholders.
