The advisors on SoftwareOne’s syndicated financing
Lenz & Staehelin advised software and cloud solutions provider SoftwareOne throughout closing of a CHF 1.26 billion syndicated financing, with Niederer Kraft Frey representing the lenders.
The syndicate arranging the operation included BNP Paribas, UBS Switzerland, UniCredit and Zürcher Kantonalbank as well as a group of international and Swiss financial institutions.
The deal also saw Wiersholm acting on Norwegian law aspects for the lenders, with a team including partners Atle Gabrielsen, Anne Lise Ellingsen Gryte and senior associate Johanna Bergum Mortensen. Moreover, Wikborg Rein advised SoftwareOne on Norwegian law aspects.
The financing falls within the context of a long-term debt financing for SoftwareOne Group, following the completion of the recommended voluntary offer by the company for all shares in Crayon.
