VISCHER advises Wipro Limited on the acquisition of Capco

VISCHER advised Wipro Limited on all Swiss legal aspects of the acquisition of Capco for USD 1.45 billion, from due diligence to advice on transaction documents. DLA Piper acted as lead counsel on this transaction.

The acquisition is expected to close during the second quarter ending June 30, 2021, subject to required regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions. The acquisition will make Wipro one of the largest global end-to-end providers of consulting, technology and transformation services for the banking and financial services industries.
