Walder Wyss acts as data protection officer advisor of Swisstransplant

Walder Wyss has taken on the role of data protection officer advisor of Swisstransplant. In this capacity, the firm supports Swisstransplant in conducting data protection assessments and implementing measures to ensure compliance under the upcoming data protection legislation. The foundation Swisstransplant promotes, develops, and coordinates the nationwide transplantation of organs, tissues, and cells and fosters public awareness about organ donation and organ transplantation. On behalf of the Federal Office of Public Health, it manages the waiting list for organ recipients and is responsible for the lawful allocation of organs. Additionally, Swisstransplant coordinates transportation logistics and handles accounting in the donation process.
