Walder Wyss adds new counsels

Walder Wyss has incorporated four new counsels to the firm: Stefan Walder, Iliana Djagova, Joy Malka and Téo Genecand (photographed in order of mention).

Stefan Walder is counsel in the corporate/M&A team in Zurich. His practice focuses on corporate law, matrimonial property and inheritance law, real estate law, and insolvency law (especially bankruptcy law).

Iliana Djagova is also counsel in the corporate/M&A in Zurich’s office. Her practice focuses on domestic and international M&A transactions and general commercial and corporate law matters for listed and private companies. Prior to this, she worked as senior associate at Lenz & Staehelin.

Joy Malka works as a counsel in the employment law team in Zurich. She advises national companies, international groups and private individuals on all aspects of employment law, in particular on the drafting of employment contracts and personnel regulations, the termination of employment relationships and in the context of restructuring projects (such as transfers of undertakings and mass redundancies). In addition, Malka has many years of expertise in the areas of personnel leasing, international transfers of employees and working time permit applications. She worked as associate at Homburger and Blesi & Papa before joining Walder Wyss.

Téo Genecand is counsel in the Dispute Resolution practice of Geneva. His work covers all forms of commercial disputes. He is also frequently involved in white collar crime matters, estate disputes, enforcement proceedings related to the financial industry as well as asset tracing and recovery matters. He provides strategic advice in pre-litigation phases and acts before civil and criminal Courts. Prior to this he was working at Lenz & Staehelin.
