Walder Wyss advised ING’s Swiss branch

ING’s Swiss branch is active in the commodities trade finance business and is financing goods located in various jurisdiction. In the context of an internal reorganisation, Walder Wyss advised ING’s Swiss branch on the transfer of certain Swiss and foreign law security agreements guaranteeing trade finance loans granted by the bank.

Walder Wyss coordinated and streamlined the advice of law firms in 8 jurisdictions in connection with the assessment of the effect of such transfer and the requirements for the re-registration of the security agreements in certain jurisdictions.

The team was led by Hubertus Hillerström (Partner, Banking & Finance – pictured) and further included Valentine Schnyder (Associate, Banking & Finance), Camille Tistounet (Trainee, Banking & Finance) and Ken Savioz (Trainee, Banking & Finance).
