Walder Wyss advised the three founders of app Threema

The German-Swiss investment company Afinum Management joins Threema as an investor. Threema develops and operates the Swiss messenger app Threema, which has become popular with a strong focus on security and data protection and among its customers is various DAX 30 companies, authorities and NGOs.

Through the partnership with Afinum, the three founders and developers of Threema – Manuel Kasper, Silvan Engeler and Martin Blatter – lay the foundation for continuity, further growth and the acceleration of product development. The three founders will retain a substantial stake in Threema and will continue to run the company.
