Walder Wyss appoints new partner and counsel

Walder Wyss officialised the promotion of Iliana Djagova (pictured right) to partner in the corporate and M&A team, and Matthias Lötscher (pictured left) to counsel in the banking & finance team, both effective from January 1st 2026.

Iliana Djagova’s practice spans domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, growth equity financings, late-stage investments as well as capital markets and public takeover matters. Djagova often represents strategic and financial investors and advises companies as well as shareholders on corporate matters, focusing on growth and exit transactions.

Matthias Lötscher

A specialist in financial services law and regulation, Matthias Lötscher’s expertise includes anti-money laundering compliance. He advises financial institutions and service providers on financial instruments and services, with a focus on asset management and collective investment schemes. Moreover, he supports clients in obtaining FINMA and other regulatory licences.
