Walder Wyss represented lm group against Ryanair
Bravonext, a subsidiary of lm group and a European operator in the online travel and leisure industry, has announced that on December 7, 2020 the Court of Appeal of Canton Ticino has fully confirmed the decisions of the Lugano court of first instance of May 2019 that had ruled that lm group’s is entitled to offer to all its customers the possibility to compare and book Ryanair tickets through the lm group websites (lastminute.com, volagratis.com, rumbo.es, weg.de, bravofly.com, and others). By entirely rejecting the appeals of Ryanair now also the Court of Appeal of the Canton Ticino confirmed in a well reasoned and detailed judgement that lm group does not violate any intellectual property right, unfair competition legislation or any contractual obligation towards Ryanair in performing its online travel agency activities in respect of Ryanair flights.
