Walder Wyss with Mercury Systems on Cicor supply agreement
Walder Wyss advised technology company Mercury Systems on the strategic supply agreement between its Swiss subsidiary Mercury Mission Systems International (together Mercury) and Cicor Group. Under the terms of the agreement, Cicor Group will acquire a manufacturing operation in Plan-Les-Ouates, Switzerland, and supply Mercury with electronic products.
The context
Mercury Mission Systems International serves the international aerospace and defense industry with mission-critical processing products and solutions.
The transaction’s completion is planned to take place within approximately one month, being subject to customary closing conditions. The parties involved have decided to relocate production to the Cicor sites in Newport, United Kingdom, and Bronschhofen, Switzerland, within the next 18 months. Pursuant to the agreement, Mercury will purchase boards from Cicor, while still continuing to source boards from Mercury’s U.S. operations.
